In two weeks, Yaskawa Motoman will be in Philadelphia, PA for the AACC Clinical Lab Expo, which is the world’s largest exposition for clinical laboratory products and services. It provides many opportunities to learn about technologies, including: a new product showcase, lecture series, workshops and more.

Whether your laboratory processes one thousand specimens a day or one hundred thousand a day, you rely on your staff and equipment to quickly identify each specimen, to prepare each specimen for testing, to route to the proper department quickly and to maintain specimen status and traceability. At the show, attendees can learn about automated solutions that solve these laboratory workflow challenges in our booth #3143 during August 2 - 4 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

Bulk Sorting Systems
We will be featuring our AutoSorter 2000BB bulk sorter that has a new configuration for sorting frozen specimens in a -20°C environment during the sorting process. This demonstration addresses common requirements for high-volume commercial labs: bulk loading; wide range of container types and sizes; throughput up to 2,000 tubes/hour; and sorting to twenty-four bins with options for loading to racks or track. These capabilities are now available for both ambient/refrigerated and frozen specimens.

Sortation Systems
Our booth will also have a demonstration showcasing our AutoSorter 1200 high-speed sorter with track connection for integrated systems to process high volume and/or complex workflows. It provides improved processing accuracy, specimen traceability and relieves laboratory staff of repetitive tasks and exposure to infection. AutoSorter 1200 may be a stand-alone workcell or linked together with aliquoters, recappers and other process-specific instrumentation.
